The Old Bailey Choir

The Old Bailey Choir was formed in 2017 by staff and volunteers of the Witness Service at the Central Criminal Court primarily to bring together those who work at that Court. Since then the choir has expanded to include many members from the legal profession and others who are associated with it, with the City or who work in the City. Membership is open to all singers and there is no formal audition and no requirement of previous choral experience. We aim for, and achieve, high standards; strong singers are always valued, and those with less experience will gain from the training the choir receives from our Director of Music, Andrew Storey. The choir aims to perform two concerts each year, as well as singing at the annual carol service in the Old Bailey (The Central Criminal Court). The choir is run by a team of committed volunteers. We are a very friendly and social choir and are not averse to meeting for a drink after rehearsals or joining in other social gatherings!
